Cassie Egerstrom
This is Cassie Egerstrom (age 10), demonstrating her ability to play Aura Lea (the tune that Elvis Presley based his classic 'Love Me Tender' on) in preparation for the RGT Acoustic Guitar Preliminary Grade Exam. I had been teaching Cassie for only a couple of months before we decided to record this video - so it is a huge achievement that she is able to play a piece from the Melody section of the exam so well. Well done Cassie!!
Max Jefferson
This is Max Jefferson. He had never picked up a guitar until our first lesson together (2 months before this video). He has progressed extremely well and is beginning to understand the fundamental basics of guitar playing - so here he is playing a G major scale as part of his Preliminary Acoustic Guitar Grade.
